The paradox podcast series is showcasing its 100th episode today.
To celebrate this turning point, we are proud and delighted to host such an iconic figure from the Berlin Techno scene. Starting his DJ career in the late 80’s, DJ Pete is a pioneer in all meanings of the word as he is the longest serving staff member of the legendary record store Hardwax and one of the earliest residents of Berghain.
As a producer, DJ Pete is known under his alias Substance, with a back catalogue of highly influential solo efforts released on the mighty Chain reaction imprint, and an impressive string of acclaimed remixes for pivotal Techno artists like Juan Atkins, Regis, Kessell, Orphx, Robert Hood, Rhythm & Sound, Monolake or Shed…
The Berlin legend finely highlights his impressive and wide knowledge of music in this contribution and manage to merge in one piece all the shades of Techno we offered so far in the series. Hats off!
