The 4th release on Invite’s Choice Records, Wrong Methods, gathers once again three carefully selected artists.
Following their solid “She Was My Treasure” track released weeks ago on the fresh Persistence label, the Italian duo Hertz Collision opens up the A-side with a surprising blend of a grainy soundscape, a heavy bass line and a fascinating melody.
A2 is delivered from another Italian artist, Wrong Assessment, also known for his project with the great Max_M (Overall severity). The Lizard is a bang-in-your-face track, with filtered kicks and drums striking from everywhere. The arpeggiated synths give it a further eerie spirit and make it a perfect weapon for the peak times.
Techno veteran Savas Pascalidis handles the B-side the old-school way. With a heady acidic loop, powerful hats and a ravy kick, Savas demonstrates once again that the 90’s spirit is still alive.

Invite’s Choice Records nous régale une fois de plus avec sa fine sélection d’artistes.
Après une très belle sortie sur le nouveau label napolitain Persistence, le duo italien Hertz Collision ouvre le bal avec un track surprenant par son mélange. Ambiance à la texture granulaire, une bass line lourde et volumineuse, le tout révélant une mélodie émotionnellement prenante.
La face A est complétée par un autre artiste italien, Wrong Assessment, connu également pour son projet en compagnie du très regretté Max_M (Overall Severity). Il nous délivre un morceau qui vous latte littéralement la gueule. Les kicks et les drums passés au filtre fin arrivent de partout et nulle part. Ce petit synthé angoissant en fait une arme plus que fatale pour balancer la sauce en plein peaktime.
Le vétéran de chez Tresor records, Savas Pascalidis, ferme la marche avec un track bien old-school. Boucle acidulée entêtante, hats tranchants et kick d’antan nous rappellent que l’esprit des années 90 est toujours vivant.
