Benales (aka Benjamin Morales) is back on the French legendary label Sino with the 2nd part of his EP-concept “Elements“. The first part was out on the same imprint in 2016.
The Paris-based DJ and producer here borrows familiar features of UK and Detroit techno, ingeniously blended with fresh and minimal sounds, and some high-energy drum rhythms. Heavily influenced by the 90s techno signature, Benales opens here a spatio-temporal gate that brings the listener straight to the old Tresor vault.
”Element#11″ mixes raw elements and bleeps wrapped in soulful pads, whereas “Element#12” sets a much darker atmosphere, where claps are mixed up with stripped down and powerful rhythms.
