PODCAST #229 – DANTÉ

✈ We are delighted to welcome Polish DJ and Producer from Gdańsk, currently based in Berlin: DANTÉ.

Danté, also known as Szymon Nowicki, is one of the figures without whom it is difficult to speak about the contemporary electronic music scene in the Tri-City. A DJ, producer and co-creator of Gdańsk’s Crackhouse, a club that has become one of the strongest points on Poland’s club map. From the beginning, his work has been connected not only with DJing, but also with actively building space for music, artists and audiences.

Behind the decks, Danté moves with the instinct of someone who understands both the energy of the dancefloor and the context of the place he is playing in. His music has already been released on several labels, while today one of the most important directions of his work is Opus, a label he curates. It is a project born from the need to consistently develop his own environment and create quality tracks.

For years, Danté has been pushing the boundaries of what the electronic scene in Poland can be. Crackhouse gave it new energy, while Opus allows him to progress in the international market.
