PODCAST #242 – GANNEIN

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we’re proud to host a singular voice from the Berlin underground: GANNEIN — DJ, producer and founder of NIENN.

Self-taught and based in Berlin, Gannein crafts techno built on richly textured soundscapes and signature low-end — dystopian, melancholic and deeply atmospheric. His approach balances technical precision with raw intensity, serving both expansive dancefloors and introspective moments.

With releases on Mindtrip, ARTS, Vault Sessions and Soma, and support from the likes of Ben Klock, Nastia and Luke Slater, he’s played Berlin strongholds including Tresor and Renate while building a growing international presence. In October 2026 he launched his own label, NIENN, with a five-track EP of his own material — everything he loves most in techno: expressive sound design, trippy rhythms, crafty low-end and a strong narrative pull. Less is more, abstract, always built for the intimate club experience.

His pick from the mix? The unreleased eaien track “Liminal Space”, landing on the next NIENN release — a perfect snapshot of where the label is heading. He also has his first full vinyl EP incoming at the end of the year on Sine Space 7, including an IGLO remix of one of his own tracks.

Enjoy and feel free to share! Love & Techno ❤
