PODCAST #241 – M.F.S: OBSERVATORY

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we’re proud to host a singular voice from the Italian underground: M.F.S: OBSERVATORY — DJ, producer and founder of Observatory Music.

Hailing from the area around Naples, M.F.S: Observatory — the project of Mattia Turchetti — is built around deep, stripped-down techno driven by hypnosis, tension and raw energy. With each release his sound leans darker and more hypnotic, focused on atmosphere and groove rather than formulas — the raw energy he loves in techno channelled through a refined, personal approach.

He’s released on labels including Second State, Illegal Aliens and Diffuse Reality while running his own imprint, Observatory Music, and has recorded for series like HATE, with a BCCO mix on the way. With new music incoming on Illegal Aliens, Splatter and Mind Medizin, and a recent appearance at Loone, he keeps sharpening a sound built equally for intense dancefloor moments and deeper listening.

He recorded this podcast on three XDJ-700s through an Xone:92, straight into a Tascam — keeping the setup simple and letting the flow, the transitions and the energy of the records lead the way. His pick from the mix? M.F.S: Observatory – Glasses, his own track — a snapshot of where his sound is heading right now: darker, more hypnotic, more focused on atmosphere, and for him the record that best describes where he is creatively.

Enjoy and feel free to share! Love & Techno ❤
