✈ To celebrate this new episode, we’re proud to host a rising force from the underground: MIKROTAKT — Berlin-based British techno producer and founder of PRTL WRX.

Sitting at the intersection of hypnotic techno, minimalism and broken rhythms, Mikrotakt has built a sound rooted in research and intention. His path took shape while studying audio production — a deep dive into minimalism, and into the work of artists like Efdemin, that would go on to define his own direction.

His track selection here is deeply personal: each record holds a form of connection, respect or nostalgic appreciation for the artist or label behind it. If he had to pick one, it would be Efdemin – Aachen — a track tied to his early days, to the research that shaped him, and to one of the first Fold lineups he attended, with Efdemin, Jamaica Suk and Ed Davenport. For him, it’s a perfect example of minimalism.

The result is a long, patient journey — 47 tracks moving through hypnotic techno, minimalism, broken rhythms and deeper, more introspective territories.
