✈ To celebrate this new episode, we’re proud to host a pillar of China’s underground scene: LINA K — founder of Techno Train and of the Techno Is A Woman movement.

If you’ve ever been clubbing in Shanghai, you’ve probably come across a fierce blonde keeping everyone from going home during her late-night extended sets. Over 15 years behind the decks, Lina K has forged her own path both as an artist and a curator. As the founder of Techno Train, she shaped Shanghai’s techno culture, introducing international talent and fresh, innovative sounds to local audiences.

Now based between Chișinău and Berlin, she brings the experience and energy shaped by her years in Shanghai into a new chapter — her style continuing to evolve through new environments and influences. Her sound is fierce and fearless: dark atmospheres, groovy bass-lines and cosmic soundscapes, layered with hypnotic FM tones and breakbeat elements, creating a fluid tension between darkness and groove.

Through Techno Is A Woman, the project and movement she started, Lina has broken barriers and amplified the voices of women and marginalized communities in a scene still dominated by men. As a producer she’s already found her place on labels such as Rave The Planet, MODE, Synthlab, Art Bei Ton, Subhills, Ambient Sleepers, Genom Sequence and Paralelo.

Whether in intimate settings or on the biggest stages, her music remains a reflection of who she is — constantly evolving, yet always true to its roots.
